Flat floor made got cockpit locker
Shelf (fiddle not on yet or painted)
Plumbing done (not as complicated as it looks)
On to the next....

White on left is water fill for additional tank
Smaller hose is bilge pump
Smallest is vent

Aft cabin is done
2 new water bladders added under centreline
Bulkheads cut to fit cooler
2nd opening port cut into hull
Aft shelf added for storage

Settee is looking better.
Awaiting some wiring before installing ceiling panels.
Got the locker finished.
Floor fitting good and painted
Shelf glassed in, fiddle on and painted.
Will be nice to have that flat floor and additional easy access storage from the shelf.
Nice to see another thing “done”

Got the ceiling panels on yesterday.
Needed extra hands to bend the thin plywood into tracks at the hatch and companionway.
Will clean up wiring today and spray varnish cabinets in prep for floors to go back in.
Starting to feel a lot less overwhelming as the list gets smaller.

The opening ports I cut into the hull will be a huge improvement both in ventilation and not getting up to look see outside.

After 11yrs I sold my Suncat.
I knew Id be using the little mini trawler more at home here.
Sold the west coast trawler too.
So, as of today:
36 year old Jenneau for Abacos
53 year old mini trawler (oday Mariner hull) for home
49 year old Albin 25 trawler (next project, possibly the loop)

25ft is my big boat 😳🤣

No matter how hard I try I will never keep up with you. I am grateful that it sounds like they are going to let me back into your country,....so....maybe this fall

Yep
I believe as of August 7th you can enter if you’re fully vaccinated.
Now, I’m very concerned about trailering Déjà Vu south as there is no set date for USA borders to open to us… even if fully vaccinated.

Yep, the way things are going down here I wouldn't hold my breath. I am just glad they are letting me fly to Kauai in two weeks without a test, being fully vaccinated.

Almost ready to go and it was just announced USA border will open to double vax’d in early November!
Woop woop!

Boat update

Solar mount fabricated and panel up. Pipe wasn’t too bad but over $250 in fittings.

Auto pilot set up

Exterior wood refinished
