Since the housing market went up, people have been asking ridiculous prices for everything.  Locally there is a sunfish for sale.  No spars, sails, and it needs fiberglass work.  Asking price is $500 or will trade for a motorcycle.  The same is true in the airgun world.

I see it all the time in ads now, things like  - "FS: outboard motor 9.9hp, seized up won't turn but worked fine before. $700."

Really? People asking hundreds (or even thousands) for something that is broken in a major way. lol
