And don't skimp on the marine grade wire.  Also, make sure your either run the cable through PVC pipe as a conduit, or use cable ties to hold it in place every foot or so.  Longer, unsupported runs will have problems with fatiguing due to vibration and movement.

Hello Everyone!  This is my first posting.  I found the site thru Trailor Sailor trying to keep up with the most recent news on "Flight of Years".   Through reading, everyone seems to be real cool.  I myself is in the process of restoring a '73 Venture 242.  When I bought he she came with repair tickets from St.Kitts and St. Thomas, so I know she has be down there before.  Not too much work going on now, we live in Iowa.  I and my family have prayed for Karen for a safe trip. I wish I could be there to see her off tomorrow, the cold would'nt bother it is 9 degrees here now.  If I could I would take her a pair of Carhart insulated bibs.  Marc

like the site a lot. although im just a trailor sailor (com-pac 16)and have never sailed the big blue,  i know i will gain a lot from the site and its most expierenced members. cruising isnt in my future (we are a retired police sgt and a retired h.s. teacher) so big money isnt there, but sailing is sailing and the challenges and peace of sailing is in me. a good friend once told me that a small boat makes for a big lake and a big boat makes for a small lake and he sails the great lakes on a sanjuan 23. anyway thanks for a great source of information----knowledge is indeed power.

CapnK,

I did a computer clean up, and now I lost the pics on peoples signatures including my own, do you know what I did wrong?

Thanks

Unfortuneately it is not your computer.  It is the gallery, that is not online right now.  When you cleared you cache, you lost the images.  I am on a non-home computerright now, and can not see them either.

CaptK is aware of the problem, and plans to fix it whenever..... he gets out of prison (?)

;D
Satisfaction is wanting what you already have.
