Yes. It would replace my Seidelmann 295 and Compac 19.

Last September when I posted this I couldn't find a Flicka anywhere so I bought an Orion. Beautiful boat. Now, I found 3 Flickas for sale.

The 1st one is in Guatemala. It has a diesel, but also has an outboard so not sure if the diesel is running. Also comes with a dual axle galvanized trailer. This could be a real adventure, or horrible experience flying down to inspect it and bringing it home. Asking $10,000.

The 2nd boat is in Maryland. It has a diesel and the private head. Asking $23,000.

The 3rd Flicka I came upon today at our town dock. It has an outboard and some weird standing rigging. The boom extends well past the stern and there are only 2 side shrouds with port and starboard running backstays. The local owner wasn't present, but I was told it was for sale and the interior is immaculate.
Asking $19,500.

I still would like to see the interior of a Flicka, however after seeing it up close, I'm not sure I'd want to be towing it through the mountains.  It's a large 20' boat and I'm 65 and getting older.  Maybe I should stay with my Compac 19.  Although, my wife suggests I look at the Maryland boat and if I like it, buy it and sail it for a year before making a decision to sell the Compac and Orion.  I don't know what she is thinking, but she would have never allowed that 10 years ago.

If you can put your training secrets into book form, you'll be a millionaire. ;D
