As I age, I realize the importance of time.
Time truly is our most precious commodity.
How we use that time, the choices we make, truly do create our lives.
I seen countless dreamers over the years. I've known countless people that have lived their dreams..
There is not always a "next year"
I love this:
"Happy are they that dream dreams, and make conscious choices to fulfill them"

I've been both. Thankfully and overall in my life, moreso the latter.
Unfortunately more recently, it seems/feels more of the former... but objectively even tho' my movement slows, it hasn't yet stopped...

Man dreams, time laughs, and or something like that.

On my wife's and my first date we walked along the Chicago lake front and I pointed out the different sailboats and their rigging. She asked how I knew so much about sailboats. I told her I planned on retiring on a sailboat and seeing the world. We'll be married 48 years this May, I've been retired 7 years, and I'm still not living on a sailboat. Not that she didn't want to, but because she can't. At 29 she had a stroke that put her in a wheelchair for several years. She walks now, but only on level, even surfaces. Moving about on a boat is impossible. So, we live on the water and I take little trips to "keep the dream alive".

Makes me think of:
Quote"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends"

Friends...and/or, perhaps, his wife, & partner in life. :) Good on ya.
