John, in a truly heroic attempt at becoming even less of a 'landlubber' by rejecting land in every way, shape, and form, has had doctors remove some type of earth ("stone", I think he said) from some internal organ of his where he'd been storing it.

Now *that* is hardcore.  :o

........

Maybe simply some more seatime would have been easier, John?

;) ;D

Get well soon, bud!  Hope your recovery is quick! ;D

I hope he has a very quick and uneventful recovery.

Captain Smollett

Thank-you all for the well wishes.

Had the minor surgery last week which turned into a slightly bigger deal when I had a bit more trauma than usual and then a (rather unpleasant) reaction to one of the post-op meds they put me on.

But, I'm on my feet again at least, and hope to have all laid along soon.

Thanks again for the kind thoughts.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  -Mark Twain
