Now that's an interesting looking boat.  Two masts for a short hull.  Could you provide some more details on her design?

I'd guess more of a cat-ketch.  Looks interesting.

Yes she is a cat ketch. Designed by Graham Byrnes of BandB yacht designs. Some of his other cat ketchs are , Princess 22 and 26, Coresounds 15, 17, 20, and Everglades 22.

Neat looking boat, Sunset. Grog to ya. :)

Rule of thumb, to differentiate a schooner from a ketch: A schooner mainmast (the aftmost mast; it's not a mizzen) is as tall as, or taller than, the other foremast(s).

Ah, I thought that looked like one of his designs. Cool. :) Did you build her?

CJ and Laura are out on Tehani right now - I'm sure he'll chime in when they return. Or should I say: "If they return..." :D

Yeah- we're back. We had a nice night at anchor but today the winds were a TAD stiff - forecasts was for 25 to 30, gusting higher, so we came on home.

Hey Sunset- are you  Scott? ;D

Yeah- Graham does nice boats- here's one of his Princess 22's I built for a customer in Oklahoma.

CapnK it took me 2 1/2 years of spare time. Plus I just now finished the inside for a trip we made to 10,000 islands.

Yea its me Charlie, I can't hide anywhere ;) with a yellow Belhaven. Glad to here you got out sailing but sorry to here you had to but it short.

Thought it might be.

We had a great evening. Nice dinner, glass of wine, crashed by 8 O'clock cause it was chilly out. Had a great sail back on Thursday- the beach weather station right where we were showed a gust of 34 during the time we were out there. We were logging 7.5, 7.8 under just the working jib ;D

The opening of our season, cause there's gonna be many more this year than last I GUARANTEE you!!!
