Computer Trojans bugs and Malware removal tools

I received some bad sortware and Trojans and spyware in my computer and had a bad time removing it. Here is what I used -

For the bad bugs and a little harder to use,  Please print out and follow the instructions for using SDFix in BC's self-help tutorial "How to use SDFix". This program is for Windows 2000/XP ONLY.

This can be a problem and it is recommend "I do not recommend using the tool without guidance from a qualified malware removal specialist! "

This is why I use a Mac for my personal machine, even though I have to work with Wintel machines professionally.

Windows users - Seems some black-hats have a massive new campaign out there that will try and trick you into installing a trojan/virus, claiming that you need to update your Flash player.

In short, don't 'update' your Flash player, if you get a message telling you that you need to. It is a fake message, and is tricking you into doing Bad Things.

I'm not sure how bad it is just yet (how much hype vs real-world stats), but I thought it best to post about, because I hope nobody gets this.

Again...glad I'm using a Mac... IIRC, this faux CNN site uses an ActiveX control to do the damage... and Macs don't run ActiveX... or Internet Explorer. :)
