Modified the ladder to get it near to vertical

Glassed in a wedge to get the OB bracket closer to vertical.The 2 thru-hulls are for the 2 bilge pumps.

Parlance is from the old French. Another word that all pirates knew is ''parley'' which is borrowed from the old French : ''pourparler''. Well all that is just talk.... :)

Not much to update.Pretty much done other than putting the mast up,rigging it,provisioning,putting the OB on and go.I had thought I could modify a new/old tiller I had kicking around but nope...so a new on is on order.New sails were delivered a while back,sunshade is made,new standing and running rigging etc made in late summer.Not much to report other than trying to get through Christmas and new years  ;D.

It aint much of a building.  Well, I shouldn't say that, it really has served me well for way too many years.  There is a 12" gap that runs along the ridge of the roof that has a translucent fiberglass ridgecap to let light in.  Over the years the adhesive backed foam that sealed the gap between the roof panels(metal)the 'skylight' has weathered away.  Up here the wind blows the snow left to right and vice versa instead of just letting it fall heavenly from the up.  Little gaps result in fairly substantial snow accumulations in a day or two.  Yes, I have replaced the foam, but it doesn't stay put well once the wind pipes up.

So I just keep dreamin all winter long...nibblin' on sponge cake, watching the sun bake...
