I like it for what it is - a small trailer sailor that can be pulled by a small vehicle with reasonable compromises made - fairly stable but not too slow, big cockpit for comfortable day sailing but enough room for sleeping in the cabin, but not much else.
I am 5' 9". A 6' or taller person wold not like the cabin as much. Standing is out of the question and even the sitting headroom is a little tight.
I have been in touch with a guy who took one over to the Bahamas and back, but that isn't what it is for. I am sailing in the sounds of NC primarily. I do plan to do a few multiday trips and that's one reason I am attracted to this board; to get advice on fittting out a small boat. Another "feature" of this boat is that it has almost no features; very bare bones but it easy to fit out. In other words, it doesn't have cabinets that are not optimal or a sink in an odd place or anything; it's a shell.

Anyway, below is some info.

EDIT - not sure why they show small. I added the URLs above them. Even using the URL, I have to click to zoom. Odd; don't know if that is just an IE thing or not.

Disclaimer: I am not an experienced blue water sailor. My boat is not a blue water cruiser. So most of my knowledge is from research, discussion or sailing near shore and inshore. "Grain of salt" applies...

Welcome aboard!

Kinda reminds me of an 18 foot Beneteau (Piranha!) I was thinking about a couple of years ago. Still not sure why I didn't go for it  ??? Sometimes wish I had.........
