Captain Smollett

S/V Gaelic Sea
Alberg 30
North Carolina

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  -Mark Twain

Looks like an "Ahlberg"?,
or a Swedish Amigo 27"? or mayne a "Fingal"? :-\

maxiSwede

Amigo 27 - No, 'cause it has a transom-hung rudder and 'folk-boatish' transom.

FinGal - No ,just doesn't look right.... the cabin top really looks like an Amigo, but not the rest...

so, my guess is to second the 'Alberg' call.

Capnsmollett - do you have any dimensions on it? like a rough size guesstimate?

Otherwise, it beats me.
s/v  Nanna
Southern Cross 35' Cutter in French Polynesia
and
H-boat 26' - Sweden

No.  I don't have any info on it.  Saw it on trailer in motel parking lot and was intrigued. Gone now.

I would have to agree with Rachel that it's a Pearson ;D. Can't see the bottom profile but the top is a dead ringer.

How about Robert Shaw (the late actor)...
"Here's to swimmin' with bow-legged women!" - from Jaws
OK. I apologize for straying off onto that.

Interestingly enough, it seems to me that Alberg, Coble (the Bristol Corsair designer), and Shaw all had something very similar in mind as a design. Or else they "copied" off someone - probably Alberg. Is this the result of the sailing class rules of the time plus looking for a similar style?
1977 Nordica 20 Sloop
It may be the boat I stay with for the rest of my days, unless I retire to a cruising/liveaboard life.
1979 Southcoast Seacraft 26A
Kinda up for sale.
