Oldies but goodies (epub)

Back when I was a wee sprout, my grandfather had a great library and encouraged my reading habit.
One of his (and mine) favorite authors was Peter B Kyne, and Gran'Pere  still had the three books he carried with him on his sea voyage to the Malay States in 1920 where he worked for the Yukon Gold Mining company in their tin mines.

I recently remembered these books, and low and behold, they are all available through the Gutenberg Project I downloaded the 3 books I had previously read, The Green Pea Pirates, Cappy Ricks, and Cappy Ricks Retires all of which are maritime related, set in the early 20th century during the transition of the US maritime industry from windjammers to steam ships.

I also downloaded several additional books  by Kyne, which I am saving for a rainy day....

For any who might wish to investigate these great reads, I zipped up all 7 books in "epub" format and the 2.1 meg file can be downloaded here All of these books are legal copies in the public domain.
