Just back from a week away with the small boat group.
8 boats showed, 4 of which were home built. 13 folks total.
Was so nice to be off my property and out of town for the first time since Covid. Really nice to be back on the water and with a bunch of fellow kooks.
Everyone practiced the 6ft social distancing thing ashore.
Weather was varied with both hot-sunny days and a couple of rain days. Those rain days ligitamized being lazy and I finished my first new book in a while.
Lucked out with a new "favourite picture" of Jubilee taken late day when the sun was low.
Lots if fun on little boats!
Returned home to grass that seemed to be on steroids😄

I sailed the North Channel in 2018 and was to return in 2020, but with Covid, we were told the boarder was closed.  The 2 weeks we were there several places were prohibited entry because of the many wildfires in the North Channel area.  Our shallow draft boats allowed us access to anchorages the big boats couldn't go.  beautiful waters to sail and I hope to return some day.  Maybe while sailing the Great Loop?
