Saw this image today and thought about this thread... That's how these things get started...some innocent Pirate talk...then toss in some p*werboats [and grog]...pretty soon you got a real situation... ;)

Jack Sparrow's possible androgyny aside, I have to confess that it did seem a little amusing that this aspiring modern-day pirate's inspiration and attitude seemed to transcend gender...
Yet this got me wondering if there were any good [bad?] female pirate role models that I should know about, and should be more famous [infamous?] than they currently are...?
