I thought the words reflected the views of many here
Beautiful. Very nice.
I have the autographs from .38 Special from way back when, but only one name on the page was also in Lynyrd Skynyrd: Larry Junstrom.
Awesome song with an awesome message. Thanks for posting it.
Thanks Frank. Gotta like the KISS theme.
I just stumbled upon this sweet cover by a Megan Slankard...sailing theme in a great setting (that may be familiar to Tim...)

Into the Mystic (by Van Morrison)
We were born before the wind
Also younger than the sun
Ere the bonnie boat was won
As we sailed into the mystic
Hark, now hear the sailors cry
Smell the sea and feel the sky
Let your soul and spirit fly
Into the mystic
And when that fog horn blows
I will be coming home, mmm mmm
And when the fog horn blows
I want to hear it
I don't have to fear it
I wanna rock your gypsy soul
Just like way back in the days of old
Then magnificently we will float
Into the mystic
When that fog horn blows
You know I will be coming home
And when that fog horn whistle blows
I gotta hear it
I don't have to fear it
And I wanna rock your gypsy soul
Just like way back in the days of old
And together we will float
Into the mystic...
Or this version by Swell Season...Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova...

Great tune !! I've got a ton of Van Morrison music.....he is unique. I saw him about 7-8 yrs ago. Funny/odd guy. He came out..no talking...sang/played flawlessly for 90 minutes straight....walked off without talking or an encore!! Heh..I guess he lets his music do the talking ;D
just found this...Joe's getting old (ain't we all) but can still put feeling into it

I have never seen him in concert but remember a friend saying that VM could be quite moody. My experience similar to this was a Bob Dylan concert maybe 20 years ago in Portland.

Soulful kinda reggae version...even with some familiar T-rex arm flailing... :)
Don't know if Valdi ever got any airtime in the USA...he's an ole hippie folk singer from salt spring Island in the PNW (near Vancouver island) Great KISS song

That is a good KISS song, Frank. Thanks. :)
I think this is the first I've heard of him, despite his two Juno Awards, I see. Maybe his music hasn't made it in a big way from the West Coast all the way to Maine?
He has a ton of great tunes but never made it big. I'm sure that suits him fine :D
