Did a little boating yesterday:
Woke up on my sailboat (as usual).
Late morn, sailed my windsurfer for about 3 hours.
Lunch aboard a 35' Dickerson. Then spent another 2 floating near/on a jetski, teaching the Dickerson owner to windsurf.
Late afternoon, a few beers onboard my slip neighbors 32' center console Contender (Kingfishing tournament this weekend; 175 boats like this one in the marina for the last 2 days).
Evening, more cocktails (and, of course, fresh fish for dinner!). Starting onboard a friends 42' gigantamus motor trawler, the party eventually spreads to include a 28' Grady White here for the tourny.
Nightfall, splash the dinghy, head over to a 1960 42' wooden Chris Craft, chat for a while.
Then on to the '03 Beneteau 47.7, "Wombat of Sidney", for a few hours (going to send the owner, Mike, up the mast this morn).
Putt back home in the dinghy about midnight.
Too bad I didn't get to kayak... :)
Hard life Captn, I do not know how you can stand it! :'( ;)
