How is Faith?
Missing hearing from ya!
The herd is thinning as folks start heading homeward.
I'll be florida bound in a couple of weeks too.
Nice evening tonight
Do you ever swing by your old cottage, see how things are going?
Just once Kurt...
Was disappointing....
Best to stay away.
:(
Friends on October (Beautiful gozzard 36) and I have had a great Island hopping trip to the West End.
Left Green Turtle, anchored at Powel Cay, then to Allan's-Pensacola, then to Grand Cay, then a blustery 50mile ride to the West End.
Staged to leave here at 5am for a return to Florida.
Allure is having fun.
Hoping for a nice crossing.
Watch the weather VERY closely next few days.
Anchor down in Manatee Pocket (St Lucie Inlet)
12hrs 20minutes door to door
It was "interesting" for about 12 miles in the stream.
Forgot how much fun ocean sailing can be!
Rum poured
Tired ole lad!
glad you are inshore. Weather looks to get dicey for a few days
Frank, welcome back to the fully connected world!
What is your route from Manatee Pocket? Put her on a trailer, or sail someplace in the 48 states?
I have enjoyed your pictures and stories out in the islands.
Norman
Hauling out at Indiantown and stored
Drive home... will do some trailer sailing the suncat
Then west in Mid August, south again mid December
My "normal" since retired.
Loved the ocean colour in the Gulf Stream yesterday!
Magical blue!
In all my miles out on the ocean, I have never seen a color to match that Gulf Stream blue anywhere else. Yes, it is magical.
Norman...
I've got tons of pictures from this year..
I've stopped posting so many pictures as I've posted a lot previously...
Dont want pics to seem redundant....
Was hoping others would post "new" pics and adventures...

Yep CJ....you're correct!
Crossing was a short window
Then, anchor down at Manatee pocket but wind/rain forecast so hauled butt yesterday to get Allure here and tied to a dock.
Then... left very early this morning with a friend to drive across to Charlotte Harbor to pick up my car from storage and back (7hrs rd trip) before the rain hit.
So far...luck has been with me.
Driving rain out there now!
