Title: A good reason to sail the Southern Oceans?

A graphic image at sciencemag.org which shows world shipping routes (http://www.sciencemag.org/content/vol316/issue5833/images/large/316_1866_F2.jpeg).

The image at the link above is 1200+ pixels wide, so I'll attach a smaller version here. This image might well be the best selling tool that the makers of the CARD or SeaMe could possibly think of. ;D

Heh. But look at all the commercial traffic at the Falklands!

The image is very interesting, but the source for the data is a bit suspect.
