We spent the last few weeks up north so I thought I would post something for those that don't frequent the Trailer Sailor board. :)
Here is a map of the route we took;

We launched from a new to us ramp at Okeover Inlet Public Wharf
(http://data.sailboatowners.com/photos/1222288990.jpg)
It was far superior to the busy ramps at Powell river or Lund.
We spent the first two nights in Lancelot Arm at a couple of different anchorages

There was an abundant amount of wildlife including bears, loons, herons, along with the ever present Napoleon Gulls.

Our next anchorage was Tenedos Bay, by far the busiest place we saw. We put ourselves into what I though was a very small inlet, but by the time we came back from a paddle to the lake these two Trawlers and 40' sailboat had moved in.

Next stop was the outer fringes of Prideaux Haven, behind Roffey Island. The water was warm enough to go for a swim

And give a chance to try out the pump solar shower from Duckworths

We then went up Homfrey Channel to spend a couple of nights at Toba Inlet where we got this great shot of the full moon rise.

Our next stop was Teakerne Arm via Waddington Channel

Which we shared with this 32' Bayfield Cutter

On our way back we spent a night at Refuge Cove before returning to Okeover Inlet, catching the sunrise over the Sound

Tim,
Beautiful, just beautiful. Needless to say I'm GREEN with envy. All I can say is that there is nothing like this in Iowa ::).
Fair winds,
Pappy Jack
Looks like it was a great trip... and its true what they say about a picture being worth a thousand words! Thanks Tim!
Wow!
What a beautiful place! Thank you for talking the pictures and for sharing them. Looks like it was a nice trip.
Very nice post and photos. :)
drop dead gorgeous
Cubemonkey and I sailed the San Juans a few years ago and fell in love with the area. If one can't sail New England, the Pacific Northwest has to be the other great choice.
Further proof that trailing a boat from one beautiful place to another makes a lot of sense.
Well done!
Ouch, but thank you! Makes being on the hard even harder. :o)
