Title: A pair of non-paid hands available to help you work on your boat
Post by: dannyjoh on January 20, 2013, 09:34:50 PM
I am looking for someone in the San Francisco Bay area who is working on a boat and might need an extra pair of hands. I will help you with whatever I can. In return, I gain working experience in boat repair/maintenance skills (fiber glass/epoxy jobs, thru-hulls, stuffing box/cutlass bearing etc etc). I will be available for 6 weeks in Apr and May.

I have owned and sailed a small sailboat for 5 years while trying minor repairs and maintenance.

I will work for free to help you with your boat work and I get to learn. If you are interested, please contact me (dj11235@gmail.com).

Danny,

  Welcome aboard!

I signed up with a great club there in the Bay Area.  The Alberg owners association would probably be a great place to start.  Really great folks.  I will look through my email and forward you a contact.

I wrote to Rob, and relayed your offer.  You should have a copy of what I wrote in your box.  I really recommend you get up with these guys, and when you do give them my best (especially Ebb).
