Looked like our bay here yesterday when it was gusting over 40. The launch ramp near my house was unusable- breakers at the ramp!!!

Skylark I almost bought a Tanzer 26 a while back. I liked the standing head room and general openest for a 26 footer. It had a nice trailer with it and an omc sail-drive that was supposed to have been in excellent shape. She was priced at $5000 for the boat and trailer.
I got scared off from this particular boat because there were very heavy cracks in the keel joint area, short ones on the outside and long heavy ones along the keel boats on the inside.
But other than that I liked the boat.

My Tanzer 28 has an amazing amount of room inside, it could easily be used as an efficiency apartment.  It sails well too, I like the boat a lot.  Unfortunately my job does not allow me any time during the sailing season, so it is for sale.  I am working on a trailerable boat I can use during the winter in warmer waters.
