Happy Holidays to you, and all, too!

Hope everyone has a great Christmas. Remember to call a few old friends, co-workers and older folks....you'll feel better for doing it and they will too. Here's to more sailing in 2011   ;)  Capt K....'grog for the house'

Merry Christmas to all of you (we-all don't say y'all much up here in Yankeeland).
Looks like we'll have a white Christmas this year (just a dusting), which is great because my niece from Florida is visiting, and she'd never really seen the white stuff, except the man-made kind on ski slopes.

It was a great present for her, and her enthusiasm ("What's that sound? Oh, it's the snow when you walk on it!") was nice to behold. She even took her eyes off her iPhone when we hiked in the woods.

Ho, Ho, Ho ...

May 2011 bring wonderful sailing and small-boat voyaging to one and all.

Merry Christmas to all from Laura and I.

We're down in Rockport, gazing out the windows at Aransas Bay, which is a bit rough today since this front blew in. Otherwise we're kinda "vegging" this weekend.

Yep doing the same here. Our daughters are down south enjoying the warm weather whilst we sit in the cold and damp ;D  One is on the beach in Zihuatanejo, Mexico and the other is leading a climb on Aconcagua in Argentina but currently at base camp in Pampa de Lenas where it is 100 degrees F

Merry Christmas to all

A belated Merry Christmas! from myself, Katie Marie, and the CrewDogs to all sailFarers! We were @Mom's yesterday with family, and a lack of net access. :)

Mom gave me "Once is Enough", by Miles Smeeton. Finished reading it this afternoon  ;D, once I got back to Katie. Good book, looking forward to a re-read. :)

WELL WE GOT SNOW ON CHRISTMAS DAY!!!!! Well, it was latter that night, anyway.. It was like the first time since I was born we get snow on that day, but it was like the first time in in over 50 years we got that much!!! we got a solid 11" in my front yard, and my boat has 14" on the deck! it was fun to play in it but my bike got stuck so I couldn't ride in the snow this time. te snow was over my bikes low point and it wouldn't plow threw it. oh well we still have the snowest part of the season to go..lol.

We got about a foot of snow in that storm. It was great, because my niece was visiting from Florida. She's 32 years old and had never seen snow on the ground (except for some man-made stuff at a ski area, once when she was a little girl). Her enthusiasm was infectious. She loved it, and even made a snow angel.

But now it's starting to melt.

Still, we enjoy having snow on the ground at this time of year.

Happy New Year, everybody!
