Every time I connect to sailfar, I get a push to add Tapatalk to my APP's to view sailfar on my ipad. Is this recommended?

The same thing happens to me with my tablet. I click off of their site. I don't login I just read the threads.

I use tapatalk on my phone. I like it. It's free, so give it a try. I'm not aware of any gotchas.

Where do  you find "recents" to log into?  When I go to sailfar.net on my tablet at the very top of the page it ask   "Follow sailFar.net with Tapatalk for Android"   Under that it has 2 boxes.  "Open in App"   "Install"

On the main page, down at the bottom under "forum Stats" is a line called "view recent posts" Click that and it brings up the last page of 10 page's of latest posts.

I just bookmarked that, and I open that. You can reply to posts there, but not make brand new ones. For new ones, you still have to go to the main page and figure which cubby-hole to post in

OK found "recent".  I still get the same Tapatalk at the top when I click on recent and the page opens.  Why would your tablet be different than mine. We have the same and connect to TISD for service.

ok- turned on tablet and I get it also. I just ignore it ;)

Edited-

Back on regular computer now, and it doesn't show. I think it's a "Sticky"for tablets, etc. I've never used it
