Makes the little sketches of the kraken grabbing a ship that you saw along the edges of the old nautical charts hit very close to home.

I read the story on that baby this morning, 39 ft. bigger than our boats!

You would need lots of lemons and sauce with that monster!  ;D

They said the Calamari rings would be as big as tractor tires.

It took over an hour to bring in.

They say it has lots of ammonia in it's flesh...but so does stingray, and if you soak it in a super salty brine, then in fresh water a few hours, stingray tastes just like scallops...FYI in case any sailor is planning a BIG fish fry...LOL
