One July 4th weekend, I came in to Little River Inlet from the days sailing on my CP23D, solo, under all plain sail. Cruised down about 2/3 of the crowd at anchor there behind Bird Island and spied my spot. Rounding up into the wind, I stepped forward and dropped the Bulwagga, nipped the jib halyard on the way back to the cockpit, and drifted back under main to a perfect anchor set. Enough room to swing freely, but close enough to partake in conversation with nearby boats, if need be.

It was textbook perfect, all in control and no sense of urgency or haste, professional even. Seamanlike. Cap'n Ron would have approved!

And yet not a single one of the maybe 100 powerboaters all gathered around had any idea at all what they'd just seen... :D

I feel your pain, buddy. ;D
