Zen

Why was it a fiasco???

They call it a fiasco because you can sail any direction you want as long as you go around all three marks: Treasure Island, Blackaller Buoy (next to the Golden Gate Bridge), and Red Rock (that island next to the Richmond Bridge).  It's complicated because you can cross the start and finish line in either direction and there is no official starting gun.

i can see how that could become a bit confusing. :)

What a super scene.  Is the light air common for the winter out there?

How did you guys finish?

E and I have done some DH racing.  Find it superior to the other forms of racing.  We have not sailed in a fleet that big.

Can you identify the boat in group 1, picture 9 of 32?  Very sexy.

Hey Zen!

Great set of pictures!  I really appreciate seeing them as I missed this year's Fiasco (long involved story I'd rather not go into).

So, how did you do?  Were you able to finish?

Norm - winds are generally lighter in January than in June on SF Bay.  Sailing is June can feel colder than in January, too!

Thanks, Zen.
