Title: 21', solo, nonstop RTW success : Alessandro Di Benedetto
Post by: CapnK on July 22, 2010, 11:03:24 AM
This guy has a heckuva story. He sailed the Vendee route. Though dismasted in the SoPac just before Cape Horn, he jury rigged a new mast, continued on, and finished today. Kudos!!!

While it probably wouldn't make many people's 'classic' list, that looks like a nice boat for the job.  Even has an outboard!  I was hoping for a tour of the cabin and maybe there is one on his website but it evaded me.

Nice link, Captain.
