In May '08 I was wanting to cruise down the Ohio River, all of it, then down to the Gulf, Florida, Bahamas. I will be comming up from the Bahamas via the ICW on a Mac 26M. I do understand that I will have to trailer around 200 miles to get to Pittsburg PA. But from where?
Any suggestions?
If you are planning on coming to the philadelphia area, there is Curtains Wharf & Marina in Burlington, NJ that is a couple of miles from the New Jersey entrance to the Pennsylvania turnpike. Hop on the Pa turnpike and it is a straight shot to Pittsburg. There may also be a municiple ramp in Florence, NJ that you could use that is even closer to the turnpike. I could check to see if the muni ramp is only for Florence residents.
