Title: sv Bella
Post by: Bubba the Pirate on June 05, 2014, 05:22:31 PM
I went to get my new, old boat s/v Bella, a 1975 Albin Vega and sailed her from Milwaukee home to Muskegon. 70 miles or so of open water, great weather with a little rain when we reached Michigan. I had a sailor friend for crew and no engine because the 40 year old starter decided to give up last week.

Here is a peaceful moment sunset, halfway across with no land in sight:

And a pic entering the Muskegon Breakwater:

Details to follow on the blog.

Nice!

Looks like some sweet sailing.  Sounds like a good trip.
