It's been a heck of a couple years.  Finally, this year, after a couple year hiatus, I managed to do some sailing, getting out dozens of times.  I have a couple weeks off, now, so it is time to restart my annual September cruise.

The plan was to leave last Thursday.  Unfortunately, tons of work and a hurricane scuttled plans.  I absolutely needed to get my dinghy situation sorted before going anywhere (my cheap inflatable, without motor, just wasn't cutting it).  So, I dug out the hull of the Apple Pie dinghy I started years ago from the bottom of the scrap wood pile, and determined to get the damned thing finished.

Success!  Sort of.  Still a lot of work to do, but I think she is gonna be okay as is for now.  I'm about to head to the marina to give it a try...
