After spending a year in Iceland, courtesy of our Uncle Sam, I have absolutely zero interest in anyplace where it snows on a regular basis, thank you very much.

I'll happily stay down here were our cold winters are just under 40 degrees- that's plenty cold enough for me- in fact TOO cold. I'd be happier if it never got below 60.

I think I have Island blood ;D

And Laura hates cold worse than I do if that's really possible!!!

Iceland is better than Greenland given what I've heard. :)

Hi guys,

Last summer I talked to a couple from Iceland that had moved to South Dakota to run a motel that they had bought. The man said that if you could survive in S.D., you could survive in Iceland. He said that the summers were hotter( he had just gotten out of the hospital for heat related problems) and the winters are much colder in S.D. :o. Oh, and they used to live on the north coast, just south of the Artic Circle :o.

Fair winds,

Pappy Jack

YEESH!!!

Lemme think about that for a minute... OK, No Thanks!

And I even promise not to complain too much over the next couple of cold snaps, until Spring is firmly entrenched, and Summer is just around the corner... ;D

(Things are turning green here, the birds are back in full force, and seabreezes are almost daily - woot!)
